Things that I've done today/that have happened today (to me)

So, BARACK OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT IN '08?!!!?? That's a big thing that's going on right now. And NO, I don't know why this picture is sideways now. I saved it and it wasn't sideways so...what happened?

UM, in contrast with this HUGE day in our country's history (The first black nominee for president or as the Washington Post puts it " invisible man, beloved, native son, some other book about the african american experience in the US, frederick douglass rocks"), I'm going to blog about a small topic.

Things that have happened today (to me):

1) I woke up. I was really unhappy about it and considered calling in "sick" to work just so I wouldn't have to get dressed, or worry about how my hair is sticking out (it really is...cute?) and so I would be able to sleep! Do you know what sleep is? I kind of do...it's this thing that...I used to do a lot but don't anymore and as a result I want to take naps at 8 pm now.


2) I took the subway. Oh I know, right?! How exciting. There were lots of people and it was hot. I listend to my "SHORT" playlist that now has 17 songs and isn't really "short" anymore.
And I held onto the pole at an awkward angle because even though I was the tallest person in my general area I should have to grab on to it near my knees and ruin my posture. Yeah.


3) I ate some fruit! A LOT OF FRUIT! A banana, and then some fruit from a platter that was ordered for work yesterday but no one ate from. MMM. It had mango on it...
And then
And then

4) I photocopied some things. It was really thrilling.

5) I talked to some of my coworkers. We "shot the breeze" or "chatted" or "bantered" or "wasted time" or "chewed the fat" or "chit chatted" or something else that's a synoym.



6) I played with Jewish. Remember her? She's wearing the CUTEST outfit today! This little purple top and some bermuda shorts <3 It's so fun to dress her! Mostly because it doesn't cost anything to change her outfits but I digress...


7) I read the NY Times. A few articles about the sitch. from last night.

8) OH and I almost forgot! I facebook stalked! This kid who used to be in chorus with me in high school. He's funny and adorable. Just like he was in high school :)

I can't do this to you anymore. Or myself.
