Things that look like faces

Happy Tuesday everyone! That's right, it's Tuesday already! Can you believe it?! It feels like just yesterday that it was Monday...and it feels like less than TWO days ago I was hanging out with Odin.

Oh wait...
wait just one second.

DAMNIT!

Anyway, as Tuesdays go, this one isn't that bad. Sure it's no Mardi Gras, but what can ya do, ya know? Only 1 Tuesday out of every 52 is Mardi Gras. It's kind of unfair actually...are all of the other Tuesdays supposed to just sit, sans beeds, and feel bad for themselves while Mardi Gras goes parading around? Are those 51 Tuesdays supposed to start drinking, to ease the pain of being boring and normal? Are those 'regular' Tuesdays supposed to sit in Mardi Gras' shadow? WELL, you tell ME!

Now, I'd like to get into the real meat of this entry: things that look like faces. I've always thought that some things look like faces (faces, for example look like faces)...and have enjoyed a giggle or two passing by a a house with windows and a front door that I thought looked like a surprised smiley face. But, upon sharing my insights with others (Debbie, Jason, Erin, Jamie...the list grows...) I realized that they don't see the world the way that I do. They don't really see faces anywhere except, you know, on people's or animals' faces. How sad for them! So now that you're probably ALL confused and dying to click away to another website (I have google analytics, ok? I know what's up) let's talk about some inanimate things that look like faces.

And for your sake, I will draw a little something to help you visualize incase you're not able to. :)

1) car lights: either in the front or in the back. In the back of a car, the tail lights can be eyes while the bumper is the mouth of the face.

2) houses: In particular, the front facade of a house with windows and doors. The windows look like eyes and the door looks like a mouth.

Figure E:
3) electrical outlets. I think this is FAIRLY obvious. What are you STUPID or something?

4) The RFK bridge (formerly the Triboro bridge). Now, this is a bit different. This might even be the piece de resistance, if you will, of this entry. I believe, that one day we will judge people based not on the color of their skin but on the content of their character. I also believe that the Triboro bridge, at night, with its lil' red lights on top, looks like a hermit crab. Don't believe me? Let's have a look:

Figure H:

Figure I:
Please, PLEASE, PLEASE tell me that now that I put the pictures up, right next to each other, that you can see the similarity. The little beady eyes on the hermit crab (Figure I) are JUST like the little red-dotty-lights on the RFK bridge (Figure H). AND, long sweepy curved cables of the RFK bridge are just like the sweepy curved legs of the hermit crab, right?!

OK. I hope you've learned something here. Go tell your friends and expand your horizons! You never know what kind of inanimate objects that look like smiley faces are out there :)
