11) Religion. Why are pious people often so judgmental? Shouldn't religious Christian people, because they're so God-fearing, be nice to everyone and not condemn gay people, or Jews, or Muslims? Shouldn't their love be universal? Shouldn't religious Jews not be so clicky and condescending towards Jews of different persuasions? Why are we rating Jews in terms of quality like 'oh you don't keep Kosher so you're a bad Jew'? If you're reading this, and religious, don't take offense. Or do take offense but remember that I'm Becky, the slow one, so consider your source.
12) Languages. Who invented them anyway?
13) People who wear clothes that are too small for them. First of all, OUCH. I think clothes, other than sweat pants and t-shirts, are really uncomfortable. Even pants that are in my size/are a bit too big make me feel itchy and gross. How can people BEAR to wear skinny jeans that are stiff and too small for them? Furthermore, why would someone do that? Size is just a number!
14) Why kids have cell phones. I don't really know how to elaborate on this point other than to say: I didn't have a cell phone when I was little so why do YOU little girl, wearing heals, and dressing better than me, need to have one?
15) Why we're still at war with Iraq. Yes, now I'm moving beyond stupid fashion observances and getting into meaty issues. But don't be worried because this can't last long. People are drying, children are crying, concentrate...concentrate (ever play that game?) We're spending too much money on this thing and we're not going to 'win'. And really, how can we use the term 'win' when we're betting things on a 'game' that involves bombs, land, and people?
16) Perez Hilton. I love him, but I don't understand him. STOP TRYING TO GET ME TO LISTEN TO NEW BANDS! I don't care what you like!
17) Why kids can get thrown out of a concert for drinking, but not for passing around a joint?
18) Why I can't make eye contact with people I don't know. It's kind of a problem. What is so hard about looking at someone, maintaining eye contact with them, and smiling? I just. can't. do. it. I hope someone marries me off so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
19) Doonesbury. What's a stupid comic. It's not funny. And it's too long. And the people in it are OLD. We all know how I feel about old people...
20) JAZZ. I don't understand Jazz. Why do people like it so much? There's no real beat OR words. What's luring me in here? Or actually, what's making me stay and listen to a jazz song? The saxophone, with all of its shiny keys and shininess gets me to go to jazz clubs. But what makes me stay?
