Things I'd like to do this year

Hello everyone. Me again. :)
I know I should just 'save' this entry for tomorrow but I have the idea NOW. So I'm going to write now. Sure, the idea isn't going anywhere but what if I wake up tomorrow and feel uninspired (which is possible if I really lose at trivia tonight...which reminds me: I should be looking up random facts now so that we win!)? NOTHING happens! That's what!

So I present: Things I'd like to do this year (a list in pictures)

1) Go to Cape Cod
(Say hello to NAUSET LIGHT BEACH! part of the National Seashore!)

(I LOVE CLAM STRIPS! taste the sin!)

(Cape Cod has the BEST sunsets!)

(Whales are amazing. And really big too)

2) Go roller-skating
(Except, this would be ME and I wouldn't be wearing short-shorts. I might pose like that though)

3) Make a lot of money
(Except that would be me smiling up there )

4) Have a party at my new apartment

(And remember to hire a cleaning crew because bubbles are MESSY)

5) Go to Honduras

(Which is convenient since I'm already going there. I have no idea where THIS picture was taken in Honduras but I'll have to ask Kristyn to take me here. Look at that boat! Just sitting there! Totally up for grabs if you ask me...)

(Kristyn said she's going to make me a purse like this. It's made out of pieces from potato chip bags!)

6) Go on a Date

(As Debbie and Erin will tell you this guy is not what I'm looking for. But, I thought this picture was a nice symbol of the date genre)

(Yes I know, movie dates aren't always a good idea. But if he buys both of us popcorn..)

(If a romantic walk on the beach could be combined with a trip to Cape Cod that might be ideal. Mul-ti-task)

7) Go to Atlantic City
(I guess I really like beach places)

(Gotta work on my poker face)

( Q: What's Atlantic City without an assortment of delicious cocktails? A: Lame)

(Maybe I'll go for my birthday)

8) Go to Target

(This might not be as ambitious as some of my other 2008 goals but...once I get that pile of money I'm going to have to spend it on something! Why not Isaac Mizrahi print dresses and a CD?)

9) Get a manicure

(You know, I've had a problem with biting my nails for years. Now I think I've gotten over that problem, and for what? I need a manicure to prove that growing out my nails is worth it!)

10) Get a massage

(Enough said really. I didn't use a picture of an actual massage because I thought it was too racy for daytime)

10) Eat steak
(MMMM)

(Me and mom-because let's be honest. If I'm having steak she's buying it/making it)

I would like to:
visit you at Cape Cod (I've never been)
come to your party
and accompany you to AC (Zach <3s it, I'm ambivalent, but since you have to go past me to go, I'm coming too).

This is not to say I dislike Honduras, or manicures, or piles of money, but I wanted to be sure to be included in the above three :)

so I actually have a bag like that one. But smaller. But just as cool. Can she teach me how to make one, too?

Who says that? said...

you ARE reading! UM, yes? She can? I'll ask her to teach me first and then I'll teach you. How's that? Since she's probably not going to come home from Honduras to teach you crafts.

Hope you're having a good day!

I love the last part about the steak, because it's SO true! You could totally make one, or get one in a restaurant, but you don't. It's like Mom owns steaks, or without her steaks would taste like cardboard. If steak is a food you associate with Mom, what foods do you associate with others? Am I sushi?

Who says that? said...

I would associate you with sushi, yes. Or pita and hummus since you eat that a lot or at least eat that with me. I think I associate cake/mac & cheese with Heather, and pancakes/eggs with Kristyn. I associate baked lays with Jon, and those thin mint cookies/candy with Josh. And little brownies with Patti and Nana.
